The Image Sensor in the Briefcase Hidden Camera is a 1/3? Sony CCD for(B/W) and 1/4? CCD for Color that has a resolution of 400 Lines(B/W) or 380 Lines(Color)
CCD stands for Charged Coupled Device which is analog technology. The CCD camera has a little bit higher resolution than CMOS. The camera also functions better in low light. A CCD camera drains a little bit more power than the CMOS cameras. It uses 12v instead of 9v. CMOS camera is smaller than a CCD camera and works longer with the 9v battery.
• High Power is available with most 2.4 GHz transmitters and will increase transmission distance up to an additional 1500 feet…increasing your wireless transmission up to 2500 feet.
• X-Vision (.003 Lux) is a feature only available on black and white cameras. Allows best possible images in almost complete darkness.
This Classic Briefcase Hidden Camera is available in B/W, color and may be wired or wireless depending on the type of use required for video surveillance.
The Briefcase Hidden Cam normally transmits the hidden surveillance video to a wireless receiver that comes with the unit to a TV, VRC or DVR.
You can also use the Briefcase Hidden Camera with a portable receiver and recorder that eliminates the need for the 2.4 GHz receiver that comes with the briefcase hidden camera. When the P-10 Receiver & Recorder is used with the briefcase hidden camera, the receiver built into the recorder automatically scans the hidden camera once it’s turned on and is configured automatically making it a great portable hidden cam covert solution. The P10 also is able to be set up for motion detection zones so that when motion is detected in those zones surveillance video gets recorded. The P-10 receiver/recorder also provides a date and time stamp to provide evidence for any covert surveillance operation and also has surveillance recording scheduling all in a portable that can be taken on any covert surveillance mission!
