Answer: I don’t know how she has lived with that guilt for 15 years !!! I suggest you go to counselling urgently if you want any chance of saving your marriage. Trust me from experience it helps alot and it’s worth giving it a go. You may even learn to forgive her one day, you will never forget and neither will she but it is possible to move on from it and be happy but it takes both of you to want to make it work. She should arrange the counselling as a sign that she wants to fix things even if it is hard, she should do that for you.

Answer: Probably 3. Really depends on the situation though. I have children with him so I would really try to work on the relationship with my husband. And my husband has always been very trustworthy so it would be very much out of character for him. But even if I left I would never tell the other spouse. It just isn’t my place. It is her marriage and thus her problem. The only reason I would ever tell is if I knew that and STD was being passed around. Then and only then would I see it necessary to tell as it would be a health issue.

Answer: Some people like the attention. For others, there could be other issues. Person wants to come clean about cheating. Well, they figure the only way they can be honest is if they are up on stage and there is nowhere to run. They may also figure it is national TV. Their husband/wife wouldn’t dump them on national TV after finding out they were cheating, right? Maybe it is fear that if they told the spouse at home one-on-one, the spouse would hurt/kill them; the show offers some safety. With the “baby’s daddy” stuff, I think most of those women don’t know any better. They sit on their welfare butt and watch Maury every day. Then when they go out and party for a month and get pregnant by 1 of 3 different guys (or the mysterious 4th guy who is really in jail and they are hoping doesn’t even have to be brought up but is anyway because the other 3 “Are NOT the father”… you know what I mean), they turn to Maury for help. Yeah, the free hotel room (because they get everything else for free too, right?) is a nice perk. Free DNA testing. The ability to humiliate that “scrub” in front of national TV. They are so uneducated that they don’t know any better.
