This is a hidden cam disguised as a regular smoke detector. This is a non functional downview smoke detector with built in hidden camera inside looking down.
This hidden camera could be used for a business over a cash register, or in a family room where children are playing or anywhere complete covert hidden cam video surveillance is required in a familiar often seen in a room smoke detector.
The Down-View Smoke Detector hidden camera works best when mounted to the ceiling. Therefore it can be installed in various locations such as over a cash register or stock receiving doors. The smoke detector is non-functioning and should not be used as a safety device.
The Image Sensor in the Down View Smoke Detector Hidden Camera is a 1/3″ Sony CCD for(B/W) and 1/4″ CCD for Color that has a resolution of 400 Lines(B/W) or 380 Lines(Color)
CCD stands for Charged Coupled Device which is analog technology. The CCD camera has a little bit higher resolution than CMOS. The camera also functions better in low light. A CCD camera drains a little bit more power than the CMOS cameras. It uses 12v instead of 9v. CMOS camera is smaller than a CCD camera and works longer with the 9v battery.
• High Power is available with most 2.4 GHz transmitters and will increase transmission distance up to an additional 1500 feet…increasing your wireless transmission up to 2500 feet.
• X-Vision (.003 Lux) is a feature only available on black and white cameras. Allows best possible images in almost complete darkness.
This Down View Hidden Camera Smoke Detector is available in B/W, color and may be wired or wireless depending on the type of use required for video surveillance.
The Down View Smoke Detector Hidden Cam normally transmits the hidden surveillance video to a wireless receiver that comes with the unit to a TV, VRC or DVR.
You can also use the Down View Smoke Detector Hidden Camera with a portable receiver and recorder that eliminates the need for the 2.4 GHz receiver that comes with the hidden camera. When the P-10 Receiver & Recorder is used with the Down View Smoke detector hidden camera, the receiver is built in and automatically scans the hidden cam once it’s turned on and is configured automatically making it a perfect solution where portability is needed. The P10 offers motion detection and scheduled recordings when you know what days and times recording is required. It also provides a date and time stamp to provide evidence for any covert surveillance operation.
