There are many uses for hidden cameras and spy cameras including watching over your house or business to make sure no one is vandalizing or robbing from your business. Our society today does not trust anyone, even friends and family who will stab you in the back the first chance they get to get your money or possessions.
But not to much information is around that talks about a wearable spy camera and how and why they are used much less set them up. In this article we talk about 3 different kinds of wearable spy cameras, what they are used for and how to set them up.
A) Button Spy Camera – There are 3 kinds of button spy cameras and we describe each one.
This button spy camera replaces a button on your shirt or jacket and is used by private investigators and detectives to spy on cheating spouses and insurance fraud cases. It’s also used by a man to gather evident’s on his cheating wife like in a bar or restaurant. This type of button spy camera can be used with wires usually tucked inside the shirt plugging directly into the portable DVR recorder like the DVR-9800.
It can also be used wirelessly but a 2.4Ghz receiver is required for the camera to transmit the video to. The receiver is about the size of a VCR tape and is not easily put in a pocket, so most investigators will have the receiver in their car using a 12V power adapter to run off the cigarette lighter and connect the receiver into a portable DVD recorder. The camera will transmit around 700 feet. The camera requires a 12V battery pack which can be worn on the body.
B)
Another solution is to use the spy button camera that can be powered off a battery. In this case you can use a portable DVD receiver-recorder that will scan the camera frequency and lock onto it. This hidden camera is built into the head of a button. You can mount this button camera in your shirt and it will look like an ordinary black shirt button! This camera can be placed anywhere facing the target to transmit video. This is the best button camera solution that is portable and requires no extra power supply to power the spy camera but is only good for short suveillance operations.
C) The third button spy camera is wired and connects to the recorder to get it’s power so no extra power supply is needed for the camera. This type of button spy camera is specially designed for Law enforcement agencies for their hidden investigation and Special design for evidence collection.
